When you’re buying a home you will be asked if you want a home warranty. Whether you pay for it or the seller does, most home warranties cover many things. Most of that being mechanical systems in your home. These include your appliances, your water heater, furnace, A/C, etc.. The home warranty companies typically have a service call fee they charge to have a technician come out and service your unit or replace it. The good thing is, most of the time, that is all it costs to have them come out is the service call fee. Most companies also offer a multi year discount as well.
